About Trilogy XL Bed
Design
The Trilogy XL bed by Capital is conceived as a full wall presence rather than a simple frame. Designed by Boatto Martino Studio, it uses a broad sequence of vertical panels, each divided by a slim metal profile, to create a calm, architectural headboard. The structure reaches well beyond the mattress, transforming the sleeping area into a defined, coherent setting.
This panel system can be customized in different fabrics or leather, so the backdrop can move from soft and relaxed to more tailored and formal. Trilogy XL feels at home in large rooms where its generous width of about 130 inches lets it anchor the entire composition of the space.
Materials & Build
A wooden frame forms the core of the Trilogy XL, paired with a metal basement that gives the bed a strong, stable base. The padding is in undeformable polyurethane foam in different densities, designed to keep its shape and offer reliable support over time. Nothing is decorative for its own sake; every element has a clear structural role.
The headboard panels can be finished in wood, fabric, or leather, either as a single statement or mixed with discretion. At approximately 130 inches wide, 55 inches high and 87 inches deep, and with a weight around 547 pounds, the piece feels substantial and grounded without appearing heavy.
Comfort
Comfort on Trilogy XL starts with its generous mattress size of about 71 by 79 inches. The volume around it is carefully padded in polyurethane foam with varied densities, so contact points feel soft while the structure stays firm.
The extended, upholstered headboard invites reading or working in bed without the need for extra cushions. It offers a steady, padded surface that supports the back and shoulders, making everyday use feel considered rather than improvised.
Placement & Lifestyle
With its wide headboard and clear horizontal lines, Trilogy XL naturally becomes the focal point of a master bedroom. It works best against a main wall, where the side panels can frame nightstands, lighting, or simple open space.
The custom upholstery options allow the bed to adapt to different interiors, from quiet, fabric-clad rooms to more graphic, leather-focused schemes. Once installed, it reads as part of the architecture rather than a stand-alone piece.
Longevity
Capital builds Trilogy XL around stable, long-lasting materials: a solid wooden frame, a metal base, and undeformable polyurethane foam designed to resist sagging. The substantial weight and construction help the bed stay firm and silent in daily use.
Finishes in quality wood, fabrics, or leather age with character when properly cared for, keeping the headboard panels visually sharp over years of use. Trilogy XL is not a quick statement; it is meant to stay in place and keep its composure over time.
