About Male Chair

Clean Lines, Quiet Confidence

The Malè Chair by Talenti takes a straightforward approach to dining seating. Its profile is low and slender, shaped by clean, well-defined lines that feel modern without trying too hard. There’s a visual lightness to it — the kind of design that fits into a room without dominating, but still gets noticed. It reads as contemporary and understated, which is harder to pull off than it sounds.

Materials and Construction

The leg frame is built from steel, available in three finishes: burnished, chrome, or glossy black. The seat frame uses self-supporting rigid polyurethane, padded with high-density expanded polyurethane foam. It’s a construction that keeps the chair looking slim while still delivering real substance underneath. Thermoplastic polymer glides protect floors and add stability.

Upholstery comes in fabric or leather, with fabric options spanning categories A through LUX G. That’s a wide range of textures and tones to work with. The Malè weighs roughly 8.8 pounds, so it’s easy to move around a table or reposition across a room. Seat height sits at just over 18 inches.

Comfort at the Table

High-density foam does the real work here. The padding is supportive enough for long dinners but doesn’t make the chair look bulky. It’s the sort of seat where someone settles in for a second glass of wine without thinking about it. And because the structure is balanced and the proportions are right, it supports posture naturally. No stiffness, no sinking in.

Where It Works

This is a dining chair, but its relaxed character means it crosses over easily. It works around a formal dining table just as well as it does pulled up to a desk or placed in a casual breakfast area. The steel frame finishes give enough flexibility to match different interior directions — burnished for warmth, chrome for something sharper, glossy black for a more graphic feel. Talenti designed the Malè collection with refined but informal interiors in mind, and the chair delivers on that.

Built to Last

Steel frame. Rigid polyurethane seat structure. High-density foam. These are materials chosen for durability, not just aesthetics. The chair is built to handle daily use — the kind of piece that still feels solid and looks right years into ownership. And with upholstery options ranging across multiple fabric and leather categories, replacing or refreshing the cover down the line stays practical.
