About Prisma TV unit

Design

The Prisma TV unit from Capital is drawn with clear, confident lines. Low and elongated, it anchors the room without shouting for attention. The geometry is precise, yet it feels relaxed and easy to live with. Boatto Martino Studio shapes the front with a distinctive pantograph pattern, giving the piece subtle movement as light passes across it.

At roughly 19.3 inches high, 86.6 inches long, and 19.7 inches deep, Prisma is designed to sit naturally under a large screen or as a low unit along a wall. The proportions feel balanced from every angle, so it works as well in a living area as in a more formal media space.

Materials & Build

The structure is offered either in solid wood or in a refined lacquered finish, allowing Prisma to adapt to different interiors while keeping the same clean silhouette. The patterned front is not decorative for its own sake; it is cut with precision, so the rhythm of the lines stays crisp over time.

A metal base lifts the volume from the floor, giving the piece a lightness that contrasts nicely with the solidity of the body. Weight ranges from about 66 to 187 pounds depending on configuration and finishes, and volume is approximately 17.7 cubic feet, underscoring the substantial yet manageable scale of the unit.

Everyday Use & Comfort

Prisma is laid out for simple, everyday living. Two push-pull drawers sit behind the pantograph fronts, opening with a light touch and closing back into a flush, seamless facade. Behind the doors, two internal compartments keep devices and essentials out of sight, so the room feels calmer even when everything is in use.

Cable management holes can be added where needed, helping keep wires organized and the surface visually clean. The idea is straightforward: the technology may change, but the viewing area stays orderly and comfortable.

Placement & Lifestyle

As part of Capital’s TV Unit and Low Unit 2024 collection, Prisma is flexible in placement. It works as the center of a media wall or as a low side unit below artwork, depending on how the space is planned. The linear form sits well against a wall yet has enough presence to stand on its own.

The mix of wood or lacquer with metal allows the piece to pair easily with sofas, armchairs, and shelving systems across the home. It can lean more formal or more relaxed simply by how it is styled.

Longevity

Prisma is built for long-term use, not just for the next device upgrade. Solid construction, carefully finished surfaces, and the disciplined design language keep it from feeling dated as tastes shift. And because the interior is simply organized, it adapts as components come and go.

Over time, the consistent lines, the considered materials, and the reliable function are what quietly earn this Capital TV unit its place in the home.
