About Aurelia TV unit
Design & Presence
The Aurelia TV unit from Capital is conceived as a low, linear statement piece. It sits close to the floor, with a long, continuous silhouette that stretches to about 102.4 inches in length. At roughly 18.9 inches high and 21.7 inches deep, it feels substantial yet visually light, more architectural line than bulky cabinet.
Designed by Boatto Martino Studio, the piece plays with contrasts: the solid base, the vertical accent, the translucent drawers. There is a quiet rhythm in the way these elements line up, giving the unit a refined presence without shouting for attention. It is meant to sit in the room with confidence and let the rest of the interior breathe around it.
Materials & Build
The structure is crafted in either wood or lacquer, providing a clean, stable frame for the composition. A marble base anchors the unit, while a vertical marble element rises to break the horizontal line, adding depth and a subtle sense of movement. The combination reads as curated rather than decorative.
Two drawers in bronzed glass bring lightness to the front, catching reflections without feeling glossy or loud. Inside, shelves in the same bronzed glass finish keep the interior coherent and visually calm when the doors are opened. Metallic-finish details outline the piece, giving the Aurelia TV unit a precise, tailored edge that suits the Capital collection.
Ease & Everyday Use
Behind the sculpted look, the piece is built for straightforward, everyday living. The broad top comfortably accommodates a TV, while the bronzed glass drawers and internal shelves organize devices and accessories in a discreet way. Everything has a place, and it stays visually quiet even when in full use.
Placement & Lifestyle
With its extended length and low height, Aurelia naturally anchors a living area, especially in front of a generous sofa or along a long wall. It works as a media hub, but also as a base for objects, books, or a few considered art pieces. The scale feels generous without overwhelming the room, making it suitable for open-plan spaces as well as more contained living rooms.
At about 242.5 pounds, it has real presence and stability. Once positioned, it becomes a fixed point in the layout, a quiet line that helps organize the rest of the furniture around it.
Longevity & Character Over Time
The mix of marble, wood or lacquer, bronzed glass, and metallic details is chosen to age with grace rather than follow a passing trend. Surfaces are robust enough for daily use, yet the finishes keep the overall look refined. But it is the proportion and restraint in the design that give it staying power.
With a volume of around 0.7 cubic meters, or roughly 24.7 cubic feet, the piece is substantial yet not bulky. Over time, as the materials acquire subtle patina and the interior around it evolves, the Aurelia TV unit holds its own, keeping the space grounded and quietly polished.
