Tudor Storage

About Tudor Storage

Composed Proportions

The Tudor cabinet by Capital is designed as a calm, vertical presence in the dining area. At approximately 44.1 inches wide, 55.1 inches high, and 20.1 inches deep, it reads as a tall sideboard rather than a low console, giving storage real importance in the room. Two swing doors keep the front clean and uninterrupted, so the piece sits quietly alongside a dining table rather than competing with it.

The form is straightforward, almost architectural. Lines are clear, volumes are compact, and the look shifts subtly depending on the chosen finish, moving from a more traditional mood to a sharper, contemporary one with ease.

Materials & Build

Tudor is part of the Cabinets 2020 collection and reflects the studio’s focus on material balance. The structure is in wood, paired with metal details and marble elements that can be taken further with the option of a full marble top. The mix is flexible but always feels deliberate, never busy.

Inside, the cabinet is organized with internal drawers and a bronzed glass shelf, giving a lighter note to the interior. Optional LED lighting can be integrated discreetly, bringing a soft glow that highlights objects without overwhelming them. With a weight in the range of roughly 331 to 375 pounds and a volume of about 28.3 cubic feet, the piece has reassuring solidity.

Everyday Ease

This is storage designed to be used, not just admired. The swing doors open wide, so plates, glasses, or serving pieces are easy to reach without rearranging everything inside. Internal drawers keep smaller items in order, so linens or cutlery have a clear place instead of drifting around the cabinet.

The bronzed glass shelf adds visibility, and, when chosen, the internal LED lighting helps in the quieter hours of the evening. It makes finding a specific glass or dish simple, even when the room is dim.

Placement & Lifestyle

Tudor naturally completes Capital’s dining table settings, but it works just as well on its own. In a dining room, it becomes a discreet backdrop for tableware. In a living space or open-plan interior, the optional marble top can support a bar setup, a collection of objects, or a single statement lamp.

The variety of wood, metal, and marble finishes lets it lean more classic in one project and more minimal in another. It adapts to the surrounding architecture instead of dictating it.

Longevity

Built in substantial materials—wood, metals, and marbles—the cabinet is meant for long-term use, not seasonal change. Surfaces are chosen to wear in, not out, and the internal structure keeps contents protected and stable.

Because the design is straightforward and the detailing restrained, Tudor remains easy to place even as interiors evolve. It is a piece that can move from one home to the next, or from dining room to living room, and still feel fully at ease.
