Palladio Storage

About Palladio Storage

Design

The Palladio sideboard by Capital looks back to the measured harmony of the Renaissance without feeling remote or formal. Designed by Boatto Martino Studio in 2022, it plays with pure geometry and careful symmetry. The front is a sequence of four doors, each framed by sculpted decorative arches that give the piece a quiet architectural presence. Nothing shouts. Proportions stay clean, so even with its generous length, the piece reads as balanced and composed.

At about 87.4 inches long, Palladio stretches with confidence along a wall, yet the visual rhythm of the doors keeps it light. The lacquered structure catches the light subtly, allowing the shape and arches to do the talking rather than any loud detail.

Materials & Build

Capital keeps the material palette clear and deliberate. The structure is fully lacquered, with metal trims and details that underline edges and profiles rather than overpower them. The base, also in a metallic finish, lifts the body slightly, giving the sideboard a grounded but not heavy stance.

Inside, tempered glass shelves provide stable storage with a more refined look than standard boards. Wood, marble, and metal finishes are part of the collection’s language, allowing Palladio to sit comfortably alongside other Capital pieces. And for those who want a discreet touch of technology, optional interior LED lighting can softly illuminate the contents without changing the overall character.

Ease & Everyday Use

Palladio is designed to serve daily life, not just special occasions. Four wide doors open onto clear, practical compartments, so tableware, glassware, or media pieces stay ordered and within easy reach. The height, about 34.3 inches, feels natural for setting down a tray or arranging objects on top.

At roughly 19.7 inches deep, it offers generous storage without pushing too far into the room. It’s a piece that can be used often, without fuss, and still look composed at the end of the day.

Placement & Lifestyle

With its restrained design, the Palladio sideboard moves easily between dining rooms, living areas, or wide entry spaces. Along a dining wall, it becomes a quiet anchor for serving and storage. In a living room, it can host books, objects, or media equipment while keeping a clean front.

The scale works especially well on longer walls where many smaller pieces would feel busy. And when styled with a few considered objects, the arches and metal details provide just enough structure behind the scene.

Longevity

Built with a solid lacquered body, metallic base, and tempered glass shelves, Palladio is made to hold its shape over years of use. At around 313 pounds, it has a reassuring weight that reflects its construction rather than excess bulk.

Surfaces are designed to be lived with, not tiptoed around. With its calm geometry and measured detailing, Palladio by Capital is the kind of sideboard that can move from one home to the next and still feel relevant, simply doing its job with quiet confidence.
