Palladio Storage

About Palladio Storage

Design

The Palladio cabinet from Capital looks back to the golden age of the Italian Renaissance and brings it into a clean, contemporary line. Its presence is quiet, almost architectural. Two broad doors, framed by lacquered arches, create a strong sense of symmetry. Nothing feels decorative for its own sake. Proportions are carefully balanced, so the piece reads as pure and calm even in a busy room.

There is a clear rhythm to the front, guided by the arches and the slender metal details. It stands as a focal point, but not a loud one. Palladio works well where a space needs order and a touch of classic structure, without turning theatrical.

Materials & Build

The structure is fully lacquered, giving the cabinet a smooth, unified surface that plays well with both natural and artificial light. Lacquered arches draw the eye to the doors, while metal profiles and details add definition and a subtle graphic edge. A metal base lifts the piece from the floor, making it feel lighter and more deliberate.

Inside, tempered glass shelves keep the interior open and airy, with the option of LED lighting for added clarity and presence. Finishing options span wood, metals and marbles, allowing Palladio to sit comfortably among different materials in the home. It measures about 44.5 inches wide, 60.6 inches high and 15.7 inches deep, with a weight around 340 pounds and a volume of roughly 24.7 cubic feet.

Everyday Use & Storage

Behind the two doors, the layout is straightforward. Tempered glass shelves create levels for tableware, glassware or personal objects without visually cluttering the interior. Items are easy to see and reach. And with the optional LED lighting, the inside can be gently illuminated, useful both for everyday access and for evenings when the cabinet is part of a larger scene.

Placement & Lifestyle

Palladio by Capital works naturally in a dining area, holding service pieces, linens or barware, but it also sits well in a living room or generous hallway. Its depth is modest, so it does not encroach too far into the room, while the height gives it a strong vertical presence. It pairs comfortably with both classic and contemporary furniture, anchoring the space without competing with it.

Longevity

The mix of lacquer, metal and tempered glass is built for long-term use. The metal base gives the structure a stable foundation, while the glass shelves are designed to handle regular loading and rearranging. Surfaces are easy to keep clean, which helps the cabinet retain its clarity of line over time. It is a piece intended to stay in place, age with the home and remain visually composed as styles around it shift.
