Design

Oscar is a glass table that keeps the line clean and the silhouette almost weightless. It looks minimal, but it doesn’t feel cold. The proportions are precise, with a very slender base that stays visually quiet so the room can breathe.

The look is intentionally direct. No extra detailing, no heavy frames. Just clear geometry and a sharp, modern presence, as expected from Piero Lissoni.

Materials & build

The table is made in transparent extralight glass, chosen for its clarity and brightness. The top is tempered glass and simply rests on the base, keeping the construction visually pure while still feeling resolved.

The base is the surprise. It reads delicate at first glance, but it is treated to be solid and resistant. That contrast is part of the appeal: fine edges, real strength, and a surface that keeps its crispness in everyday use.

Comfort in use

Because the structure is so light, Oscar stays out of the way when people gather around it. Legroom feels open, and sightlines stay clear across the top. And the tempered glass surface gives a reassuring sense of stability when setting down plates, laptops, or a stack of books.

It suits a dining setup just as naturally as a more work-focused space. The table doesn’t push a mood. It supports one.

In a bright room, the extralight glass reads almost like air, letting rugs, chairs, and flooring show through. In a darker setting, it picks up reflections and keeps the space from feeling heavy. Oscar is built around glass done properly: treated for resistance at the base and tempered at the top. It is meant to keep its clarity and its sharp profile over time, even with regular use.

It is not available custom made. Quick ship options include OSC02 and OSC05, useful for projects that need the piece on a tighter timeline.
