About Hydra Dining table
Quiet Presence, Strong Design
The Hydra Dining Table by Talenti strikes a balance that most dining tables miss—structural solidity without visual weight. The base is architectural in character, with inclined legs and carefully crafted joints that give the piece a sense of openness. It feels grounded but never heavy. And the generous tabletop only reinforces that impression, offering a clean surface that lets the material do the talking.
Materials That Set the Tone
The top is available in marble, lacquered, veneered, or glass finishes—each one shifting the personality of the table entirely. Marble options include Calacatta Gold, Nero Marquinia, Rosso Levanto, Verde Lepanto, Emperador Brown, and Calizia Capri. The lacquered range comes in glossy Ecru, Black, Red, and Verdigris. Veneered tops offer Natural Oak, Oak stained Canaletto Walnut, and a black open-pore oak. Glass is offered in bronzo and grafite tones.
Legs are available in lacquered or veneered finishes to match or contrast with the top. Thermoplastic polymer glides sit beneath each leg to protect floors. It is a well-considered parts list—nothing decorative for its own sake, everything purposeful.
Four Sizes, One Language
Hydra comes in four configurations. Two rectangular options measure approximately 94.5 x 43.3 inches and 110.2 x 43.3 inches. Two round options are available at roughly 47.2 inches and 63 inches in diameter. Weight depends on the top material. The smaller round in lacquer comes in around 57 lbs, while the larger rectangular in marble reaches approximately 723 lbs. That range reflects how different the table can feel depending on what it is made of.
Where It Belongs
The rectangular versions are sized for proper dining rooms—the kind where people linger after the meal. The round versions suit smaller rooms or breakfast areas, but they hold their own in open-plan spaces too. Talenti designed the Hydra collection for contemporary interiors, and the table reads well against minimal surroundings. But it also works in warmer, more layered settings. The material choice does most of that work.
Built to Stay
This is not a trend piece. The construction is solid, the joints are precise, and the finishes are the kind that age well rather than wear out. Marble will patina. Wood will deepen. Lacquer will hold its line. The Hydra Dining Table is designed to be the center of a room for a long time—not because it demands attention, but because nothing about it gives a reason to replace it.
