About Venice Dining chair
Design
The Venice Dining Chair by Talenti brings a calm, confident line to outdoor dining. Designed by Ludovica + Roberto Palomba, it balances a generous seat with an airy back, wrapped in rope that traces a clean curve. The look nods to coastal cues without leaning on nostalgia. Nothing shouts, nothing feels overworked. It simply sits right at the table and looks considered from every angle.
The contrast is the point: warm teak, textured rope, and a tailored cushion. Together they give the chair depth and an easy presence. It works as a single accent or in multiples around a dining setting.
Materials & Build
A solid teak wood frame provides the structure. The back is finished with a rope weave that wraps the perimeter, adding grip and a subtle graphic line. Cushions are fabric-covered, bringing a smooth counterpoint to the timber and cord. The mix of materials feels deliberate and durable, with the natural teak color paired to rope tones that move from beige to darker greys.
Craft is evident in the joinery and in the tension of the rope. It reads refined but not fragile—made for outdoor life and frequent use.
Comfort
The seat is wide and welcoming, with a supportive back that encourages lingering. A cushion of about 2.0 in adds softness without bulk, while the sit height of roughly 18.9 in aligns with standard dining tables for an easy posture. The overall proportions keep weight off the frame and keep the body centered, so conversation can run long without the need to shift around.
Dimensions land in a sweet spot: about 24.4 in wide, 23.2 in deep, and 29.9 in high. It feels substantial, not oversized.
Placement & Lifestyle
Built for the garden and open-air dining areas, the Venice Dining Chair settles naturally on a terrace, by a pool, or under a pergola. It’s not stackable, which preserves the silhouette and the rope detailing. Two at the ends of a table add quiet authority; a full set creates a cohesive, relaxed scene. And when the weather turns, a dedicated cover is available to keep everything looking fresh.
Longevity
Teak is known for resilience outdoors, and the rope-and-fabric combination was chosen to match that standard. At around 14.3 lb, the chair is light enough to move as layouts change, yet grounded at the table. Packaging arrives as two pieces per box for straightforward planning.
In short, the Talenti Venice Dining Chair offers a thoughtful material mix, comfortable proportions, and a design language that holds up season after season—quietly, confidently, and with purpose.
