Born in 1973, Marco Acerbis graduated in architecture from Politecnico di Milano in 1998. He spent seven years in London, working with Lord Norman Foster’s Studio on projects like the Medical Research Building at Imperial College and Capital City Academy, which was opened by Tony Blair. In 2004, he established his own practice in Italy, exploring various scales and disciplines in design. His Vertigo floor lamp became an iconic piece, now in the Vitra Design Museum. Acerbis has won multiple awards, including the Red Dot Design Award for the Kloe Armchair and Wave tap collection, and is actively involved in sustainable architecture, such as the CasaClima Class A+ certified Polins project.
