Tudor Q Dining table

About Tudor Q Dining table

Design & Character

The Tudor Q dining table from Capital sits comfortably between cabinet and dining collections, tying the room together with a clear, architectural presence. Designed by Boatto Martino Studio in 2020, it has a quiet confidence rather than a showy attitude.

The geometry is balanced and disciplined. With a top measuring roughly 65 by 65 inches and a height close to 29.9 inches, the proportions feel generous without overwhelming the space. Round-section legs in a metallic finish give the table a light, vertical rhythm that contrasts with the solidity of the top.

Materials & Build

This version of Tudor Q is offered with a wooden or marble top, supported by metal legs. The structure is lean but substantial, designed to manage a weight range of about 187 to 254 pounds without feeling bulky. Everything about it suggests careful engineering rather than excess.

The finishes are handled with the same restraint seen across the Capital collection. Wood brings warmth and a softer, more familiar surface. Marble shifts the table toward a more formal, gallery-like feel. Metals are used where they matter most, giving strength to the frame and a refined note to the legs.

Comfort at the Table

At close to 65 inches in both depth and length, the surface leaves ample room for place settings, serving pieces, and the usual scatter of daily life. Nothing feels cramped. The height keeps seating comfortable with standard dining chairs, so posture stays natural over long meals.

Because the legs are round and well placed, they visually recede, leaving space for movement around the table. Guests can sit and shift without constantly negotiating the base, which quietly improves comfort without calling attention to itself.

Placement, Lifestyle & Longevity

Tudor Q works as a central piece in an open-plan space or as a dedicated dining table in a more traditional room. In wood, it blends easily with softer interiors. In marble, it pairs well with clean, contemporary lines and minimal styling.

With a volume of about 35.3 cubic feet, it is clearly a substantial piece, but not a static one. The combination of solid materials and controlled detailing suggests a table meant for daily use, not just occasional hosting. Capital has kept it versatile enough to move with its owner from one home or layout to the next, without feeling out of place over time.
