About Aurelia Storage
Design
The Aurelia sideboard by Capital is a measured study in quiet drama. Designed by Boatto Martino Studio for the 2024 Sideboards collection, it stretches to about 102.4 inches wide, a generous horizontal line that immediately anchors a room without feeling heavy or intrusive.
Its presence comes from contrast. The solid structure is visually lightened by two bronzed glass doors with subtle cannettes, catching and softening the light as it moves across the surface. Vertical elements and the base in marble introduce a sculptural note, giving the piece a calm, architectural stance.
Materials & Build
Aurelia combines a wood or lacquered structure with marble, bronzed glass, and metallic details. The mix is deliberate rather than decorative. The marble vertical support and base ground the piece, while the glass doors and internal shelves keep the interior visually open.
Bronzed glass with cannettes adds gentle texture and privacy, obscuring contents just enough. Metallic finishes frame and accent the forms without shouting for attention. It is a precise, layered construction that feels considered from every angle.
Everyday Ease & Comfort
For a storage piece, comfort shows up in usability. At around 32.7 inches high and 21.7 inches deep, the sideboard keeps everything within easy reach, whether used for tableware, bar service, or media accessories. Internal shelves in bronzed glass help keep items organized yet visible.
The long, low profile lets the surface work as a natural landing zone: serving space during gatherings, display space day to day. It supports a calm, ordered environment without demanding constant adjustment or fuss.
Placement & Lifestyle
Aurelia works effortlessly in a dining room, living area, or wide entry. Its approximate 320-pound weight gives it a reassuring solidity that suits larger spaces, long walls, and open-plan rooms. It feels at home under art, paired with a large mirror, or flanking a seating arrangement.
In a more private setting, the piece can shift roles. It becomes a refined storage solution in a study or bedroom, where the bronzed glass fronts and marble base add a composed, almost gallery-like character to the space.
Longevity
Capital builds Aurelia from materials chosen with the long view in mind: wood, marble, metal, and glass. These finishes age with use rather than against it, developing quiet character over time when handled with basic care.
With a volume of roughly 42.4 cubic feet, the sideboard offers substantial capacity without visual clutter, encouraging a more curated way of living. It is the kind of storage piece that stays in a home as tastes evolve around it, still relevant, still useful, years on.
