Khero Side table

About Khero Side table

Design

The Khero side table from Capital keeps its design stripped back and honest. A clear glass top unveils everything beneath, letting light move freely across the surface and down to the base. There is no visual weight on top, just a calm, open plane that frames whatever is placed on it.

Below, the character of the piece comes through. The base forms a precise ring of small metal cylinders, set close together to create an almost architectural rhythm. From above, they read as a graphic pattern. From the side, they become a sculpted volume, giving the table presence without heaviness.

Materials & Build

Khero combines a glass top with a full metal base, finished in metals that feel deliberate rather than decorative. The contrast is clear: transparent above, solid below. It is a simple structure, but not a casual one. Every cylinder is aligned, every edge kept clean so the form stays sharp and orderly.

With a height of about 19.7 inches and a diameter matching that at roughly 19.7 inches, the piece sits at a comfortable side-table scale. Weighing close to 28.7 pounds, it has enough substance to feel secure, yet it can still be moved when the room needs to shift. It ships in a compact volume of about 7.1 cubic feet.

Comfort in Use

Comfort here is visual as much as practical. The clear top makes the surface easy to read at a glance, so objects never feel lost or cluttered. There is space around everything. The round shape means no sharp corners catching a knee, and the diameter gives enough room for a book, a drink, and a small object without crowding.

Because the base is gathered toward the center, legs and feet naturally find space around it. It feels approachable, not fussy.

Placement & Lifestyle

Khero sits comfortably within Capital’s Service Tables 2013 collection, and it behaves exactly like a modern side table should. It works next to a sofa, between a pair of armchairs, or beside the bed where a nightstand would usually go. The open glass top keeps the surrounding area light, even in smaller rooms.

In more formal spaces, the metal cylinders add a quiet graphic note. In casual settings, the piece softens once it holds everyday objects. It adjusts to the mood around it without demanding attention.

Longevity

The materials are chosen for lasting use: glass that can be wiped clean, metal that holds its shape and stance over time. There are no fragile decorative elements to worry about, just solid components doing their job.

With Khero, Capital leans on a straightforward idea executed with care. The design is simple enough to move from room to room, project to project, year after year, without feeling out of place or dated.
