About Icaro Side table
Design
The Icaro side table sits in that easy space between statement and discretion. Its footprint is compact at about 19.7 inches wide and deep, with a height of roughly 20.1 inches. The proportions feel balanced, almost square, so it slips beside a sofa or lounge chair without demanding attention. Lines are clean, surfaces are generous enough for daily essentials, and the overall look is calm rather than showy.
Born from the Service Tables 2022 collection, Icaro has a contemporary attitude but doesn’t feel locked to a trend. It works just as naturally with a structured sectional as with a more classic armchair, letting the rest of the room set the tone while it supports the scene quietly in the background.
Materials & Build
This table is available in marble and wood finishes, with the choice of glossy or matte surfaces. The glossy versions reflect light and subtly brighten the area around them. Matte finishes, on the other hand, bring a softer, more understated character. It’s a simple decision that changes the mood of the piece quite a bit.
At approximately 42 to 46 pounds, the table feels substantial in use. That weight, combined with its compact volume of about 7.1 cubic feet, gives it a grounded presence on the floor. Whether chosen in a rich wood grain or a cooler marble look, the build feels solid and made for everyday interiors rather than occasional display.
Comfort & Use
With its 20.1-inch height, the Icaro table lands at a comfortable reach from most seating. Drinks, a book, a small lamp or a tray stay close at hand, without feeling crowded. And because the top is square and well-sized, there’s room to use it as a serving surface when guests arrive, then slide it back into a quieter role once the room settles.
Placement & Longevity
Capital designed this piece to adapt, not dictate. Glossy marble can sit confidently in a brighter, more formal living space, while a matte wood finish settles nicely into a softer, relaxed room. The compact 19.7-inch dimensions make it easy to move between the living area, reading corner, or even a bedroom if the layout changes.
Over time, the mix of sturdy construction and considered finishes helps the table hold its own in daily use. It is built to work hard in the background, staying stable, looking composed, and continuing to support the rhythm of the home year after year.
