About Eden Drawers

Design

The Eden chest of drawers by Capital sits in that quiet space between statement and discretion. Designed in 2018 by Boatto Martino Studio, it has a calm, balanced presence that works hard without shouting for attention. The silhouette is clean and linear, with just enough volume to feel substantial in a room.

The beige taupe lacquered frame gives the piece its character. It reads warm, not cold, and pairs easily with both light and dark schemes. A single steel handle line and matching base break the color block with a precise, graphic note, keeping the look sharp and contemporary.

Materials & Build

Eden is built around a lacquered structure in beige taupe, a finish chosen to stay consistent rather than chase options. It is not available with a wooden or black lacquered structure, which keeps the design focused and coherent. On top, a wooden surface softens the lacquer with a more tactile, natural touch.

The steel handle and steel base add visual tension and physical stability, grounding the piece. At roughly 55 inches wide, 33.5 inches high, and 20.5 inches deep, and weighing about 265 pounds, it has real presence and weight, suited to long-term use rather than light-duty placement.

Everyday Use & Comfort

This is a chest conceived for daily life, not just display. Three broad drawers give clear, accessible storage. Each level is wide enough for folded clothing, linens, or carefully arranged accessories, making it easy to keep surfaces elsewhere in the room clear.

The height feels natural in use. Items on top are within easy reach, whether it’s a tray, a mirror, or a small collection of objects. Handling is straightforward: one clear steel grip line, three generous compartments, no unnecessary complication.

Placement & Longevity

Eden from Capital works well where a room needs calm order: a bedroom, a dressing area, even a refined hallway. The neutral beige taupe lacquer takes on the tone of its surroundings, pairing with soft textiles as easily as with more architectural spaces.

With its combination of lacquer, wood, and metal, the piece is built for a long visual life. Surfaces are simple to maintain, forms are not tied to passing trends, and the weight and structure suggest a chest meant to stay in place for years, not seasons.
