About Nalu Bar Stool
Design
The Talenti Nalu Bar Stool brings a calm, sculpted presence to the bar. Designed by Ludovica Serafini and Roberto Palomba, its silhouette takes a cue from the flow of water—clean lines, a gentle wrap, and a seat that sits neatly within the frame. The proportions are balanced without feeling delicate: about 20 inches wide, 23.25 inches deep, and 44 inches high, with a seat at 32.25 inches for comfortable bar-height pairing. It looks refined, yet never tries too hard. Part of the Nalu collection, it feels considered from every angle.
The enveloping back rises with a soft curve, giving the stool a discreet architectural profile. It’s sleek in profile, substantial in person, and easy on the eye in groups or as a single accent.
Materials & Build
A painted aluminum frame anchors the design. It keeps weight down while staying reassuringly solid—around 19.8 lb. The finish is crisp and even, chosen to work indoors or out with equal ease. A fabric seat cushion adds a tactile counterpoint to the metal, quiet in look and inviting to the touch.
Colorways include red barre, graphite grey barre, blue-green barre, and ivory-beige barre. Each gives the Nalu Bar Stool a different mood, from bold to understated, without losing the clarity of the form.
Comfort
The shape does the work here. The backrest’s soft wrap offers natural support through the mid-back, while the open sides keep it light and easy to slide into. The cushion is about 3.5 inches thick, adding welcome give without feeling bulky. Perched yet grounded—that’s the feel. It’s comfortable for a quick coffee, steady enough for long conversations.
Placement & Lifestyle
Built for residential and contract settings, the Nalu Bar Stool moves confidently between kitchen islands, snack zones, bar tables, and high-top dining. It holds its own in contemporary interiors, then steps outside to a covered terrace or poolside bar with the same quiet assurance. And it mixes well: the palette makes layering simple, whether matching finishes or alternating tones for rhythm.
Each stool ships as a single piece, ready to place. It is not stackable, which keeps the silhouette intact and the seat geometry consistent over time.
Longevity
Aluminum is the right choice for daily use—light to move, steady in service. The painted finish resists the bumps and scuffs of busy spaces, and the cushion fabric is selected for frequent sitting without fuss. A fitted cover is available for added protection when needed, indoors or out.
With careful materials and a clear design, the Nalu Bar Stool is made to stay in the room, not rotate in and out. It settles in, earns its keep, and keeps its look. Talenti keeps it straightforward so the piece can do exactly what a bar stool should—look right, feel right, and hold up.
