About Alicia Chair
Designed to Feel Effortless
The Alicia Chair from Talenti carries a clean, immediate presence. Its lines are light and harmonious, shaping a seat that feels welcoming without trying too hard. There’s a spontaneity to it — a sense that every proportion was resolved early and left alone. No unnecessary detail, no overworked silhouette. Just a well-balanced dining chair that looks right the moment it’s placed at the table.
The design draws inspiration from the bright, contemporary energy of its namesake. But it never leans on that reference too heavily. What comes through instead is a chair with genuine character — proportioned for comfort, scaled for real dining spaces, and finished with enough restraint to fit a wide range of interiors.
Materials and Construction
The frame is built from ash wood, with a multi-layer plywood seat structure underneath. It’s a combination that keeps the chair lightweight — just under 9 lbs — while giving it the structural integrity needed for everyday use. High-density expanded polyurethane foam handles the padding across the seat and backrest, with polyester fiber layered into the back cushion for a softer feel against the body.
Upholstery options run from fabric to leather, across several categories. Fabric is available in Categories A through E, plus a LUX tier. Leather comes in Category F and Category G LUX. Frame finishes include lacquered gloss in Ecru, Black, Red, and Verdigris, alongside three wood options: Natural Oak, Black Open Pore, and Canaletto Walnut. That range makes it easy to tailor the Alicia to a specific room or mood.
Comfort Where It Counts
A seat height of approximately 18.9 inches puts the Alicia right where a dining chair should be. The high-density foam does the work without being overly soft — supportive enough for a long dinner, firm enough to maintain its shape over time. And the polyester fiber back cushion adds just enough give to make leaning back feel natural rather than stiff.
At Home in Different Settings
Versatility is built into this chair, not bolted on. Its balanced proportions and understated form let it move between a formal dining room and a more casual kitchen setup without looking out of place. The breadth of finish and upholstery combinations helps too. A Canaletto walnut frame with leather reads very differently from a black lacquer frame in fabric — same chair, entirely different mood.
Built to Stay
The Talenti Alicia isn’t a chair that tries to announce itself. It’s the kind of piece that settles quietly into daily life and holds up. The ash wood frame resists wear well, the foam padding is dense enough to retain its shape, and the upholstery categories offer materials suited to different levels of use. At under 9 lbs, it’s easy to move. But its construction suggests it won’t need replacing anytime soon.
