Trilogy Console

Design

Trilogy is a console that treats proportion with care. The silhouette is clean, with a calm, almost architectural presence. Lines stay simple so the eye moves easily from the wooden body to the cool touch of metal and the depth of marble. Nothing shouts, yet everything is clearly considered.

Designed by Boatto Martino Studio for Capital in 2016, it feels contemporary but not experimental. The front is ordered and rational, defined by three aligned drawers and discreet metal handles. From the side, the volume is compact, about 55 inches wide, 31.5 inches high, and just under 20 inches deep, so it holds its ground without taking over a room.

Materials & Build

The console is built around a wooden structure that gives it stability and warmth. Metal handles and details introduce a precise, graphic note, cutting through the wood with a subtle contrast. Marble elements add another layer again, bringing natural pattern and a cooler tone to the composition.

The three drawers are lined in leather, which changes the way the piece is used day to day. It softens the interior and quietly lifts what could have been a purely functional storage unit into something more considered. Wood, metals, marbles, and leather work together, each with a clearly defined role.

Use & Comfort

For a console, comfort lives in access and feel. Trilogy keeps everything at a natural height, so drawers open within easy reach. The leather inside those drawers offers a gentler surface for personal items, watches, or small tech, and the metal handles give a reassuring, precise grip every time they are used.

Placement & Lifestyle

With a footprint of roughly 55 by 20 inches, and a weight in the 132–176 pound range, the piece is substantial enough for main living spaces or an entry, yet still manageable to position once. It sits well behind a sofa, along a hallway, or as a calm anchor in a dining room.

The mixed materials give it range: the marble and metal lean more formal, the wood and leather pull it back into a warmer, residential mood. It works just as comfortably with a minimal interior as with a layered, collected one.

Longevity

Trilogy from Capital is built from materials that age visibly but gracefully: wood that can develop character, metal that keeps its crisp line, marble that remains individual to each piece, and leather that softens with use. The construction, weight, and finish choices point toward a console designed to hold its place in a home for many years, not just a season.
