About Suite Console
Considered Design
The Suite console from Capital carries a contemporary, tailored attitude. Boatto Martino Studio works with simple lines, then sharpens them with precise detailing, so the piece feels calm yet dressed. At roughly 57.1 inches wide and 19.7 inches deep, it has a slim, architectural stance that slips easily into a room without feeling slight. Height runs from about 36.2 inches to 63.8 inches, depending on configuration, allowing the optional D70 mirror to complete the vertical composition.
Fronts in lacquer give the two drawers a clean, graphic look, framed by soft edges and quiet junctions. Nothing feels loud. The design is about control, proportion, and a few well-chosen accents that catch the light without taking over the space.
Materials & Build
The frame, both inside and out, is wrapped in smooth leather, which sets the Suite console apart at first touch. This continuous leather surface ties the piece together visually, softening the geometry without losing its crisp outline. Drawer fronts in lacquer add a refined contrast and keep the façade visually light.
On top, the choice is clear and focused: lacquer, solid wood, or marble. Each option shifts the character of the console, from quiet and tonal to more statement-making. Details and base in a metallic finish anchor the form and give the structure a precise, engineered feel. Wood, leather, metals, and marbles are all used in a considered, not decorative way.
Everyday Ease & Comfort
While not a seating piece, Suite is designed to make daily routines smoother. The working height around 36.2 inches sits naturally for setting down keys, placing a tray, or arranging objects. Two drawers store the items that usually clutter a surface, so the console can stay visually composed.
The touchpoints are deliberate: leather under the hand, a cool marble or lacquer top, and the solid feel of the drawer fronts. Comfort here is about how the piece behaves in use—quiet, reliable, never fussy.
Placement & Lifestyle
Sized and scaled for flexibility, Suite works in an entry, behind a sofa, along a dining wall, or in a bedroom corridor. In each context it acts as a stable backdrop for art, lighting, or daily essentials. With the optional D70 mirror, it easily shifts into a dressing or hallway station, giving a complete, vertical vignette.
The console’s measured presence and metallic base allow it to sit comfortably with other Capital pieces or alongside existing furniture. It reads as a considered object rather than a loud statement, which makes it easy to live with over time.
Longevity & Presence
With a weight of about 309 pounds, the Suite console has real substance. It does not feel temporary or light-duty. Quality leather, solid wood and marble top options, and metal detailing all contribute to a piece designed to age well, not quickly date.
The overall volume is roughly 31.8 cubic feet, but it occupies that space with restraint. Over the years, the materials will take on subtle character, while the clean geometry and disciplined detailing keep the console relevant in changing interiors. This is a 2024 design built with a long view in mind.
