About Tamashi Bed
Quiet Design, Clear Intent
The Tamashi Bed by Talenti draws from the essential spirit of Japanese tradition — not as decoration, but as a design principle. The lines are rigorous. The proportions are balanced. And the gently inclined upholstered headboard gives the whole piece a sense of calm without sacrificing presence. It reads as minimal, but there is nothing missing.
Materials and Construction
Underneath the upholstery, the headboard frame combines multilayer plywood with solid wood. That pairing matters — it delivers structural integrity and dimensional stability over time. The perimeter frame is also multilayer plywood, padded with high-density expanded polyurethane foam and polyester fiber. The result is a surround that feels soft and enveloping to the touch, without any compromise in support.
A galvanized steel bed base support sits at the core. Die-cast aluminum feet, fitted with thermoplastic polymer floor glides, keep things stable and protect surfaces underneath. Every material here was chosen to do a specific job, and it does it well.
Upholstery Options
Talenti offers the Tamashi in both fabric and leather. Fabric options span Categories A through E, plus a LUX tier. Leather is available in Category F and Category G LUX. That range gives enough flexibility to match nearly any bedroom palette — from something understated and textural to something richer and more refined. The upholstery wraps cleanly around the frame and headboard, reinforcing the purity of the silhouette rather than competing with it.
Comfort That Stays Consistent
The inclined headboard is more than a visual choice. It creates a natural resting angle for reading, unwinding, or just sitting up in bed. The foam-and-fiber padding across the frame keeps the edges comfortable — no hard surfaces where they shouldn’t be. It is a bed designed around the idea of mindful rest, and you feel that the moment you sit on it.
Three Sizes, One Clear Vision
The Tamashi is available in three sizes: approximately 63 x 79 inches, 71 x 79 inches, and 79 x 79 inches. Whether the room is generous or more contained, there is a proportion that fits. The design stays consistent across all three — same materials, same construction, same attention to detail.
This is a bed that settles into a space quietly. It doesn’t demand attention, but it earns it. And it is built to look and feel exactly this way for a long time.
