About Venice Armchair living
Design
The Talenti Venice Armchair Living brings the relaxed spirit of the lagoon to outdoor lounging. Its silhouette is generous yet composed, with a wide seat that reads inviting from every angle. Subtle textures along the armrests and back nod to nautical lines—never literal, just a quiet reference that suits the name. Designed by Ludovica + Roberto Palomba, it feels considered and easy at once.
Proportions are balanced rather than bulky. The piece sits low and confident, letting the eye travel over the clean frame and tailored cushions. It looks at home on a terrace, by the pool, or in a garden corner where light and shade play across the wood.
Materials & Build
A solid teak wood base anchors the chair, giving real substance without visual weight. Accoya, a high-quality, sustainably treated wood, is used to enhance stability and longevity outdoors while keeping the profile crisp. The frame blends wood and fabric with a precise hand; cushions are finished in fabric chosen for outdoor use and a refined touch.
Dimensions are comfortable without crowding the setting: 41.7 in W x 39.8 in D x 31.5 in H. Armrests sit at 19.7 in. Weight is approximately 77 lb, substantial enough to feel steady in wind yet simple to reposition. Ships as a single piece. Not stackable, by design.
Comfort
The Venice Armchair Living is built for long sits. The seat is broad and supportive, with plush cushions that hold shape rather than collapse. Angles are relaxed; the back invites a natural recline. In the U.S., the seat height measures 18.5 in, making it easy to stand up without effort. The cushion rises about 9.8 in, adding that soft first impression the moment one sits down.
Armrests wrap just enough to frame the posture and give the hands a place to land. Nothing fussy, nothing overstuffed—simply quiet comfort with a tailored edge.
Placement & Lifestyle
This armchair settles beautifully into an outdoor lounge, a private reading corner, or a conversational grouping. It pairs seamlessly with other pieces from the Venice collection for a cohesive layout or stands alone as a focal seat. Finishes move from natural teak to textiles in cordonetto beige, tartan blue, or dark grey, each option playing differently with light and landscape.
For entertaining, it mixes easily with low tables and lanterns; for everyday, it turns a simple patio into a place to pause. A made-to-measure cover is available for days off-duty.
Longevity
Talenti favors materials that mature well outdoors. Teak develops character with use and time; Accoya adds stability to the structure. Fabrics are selected for outdoor performance without sacrificing hand feel. Care is uncomplicated: keep it clean, use the cover when needed, and let the wood age naturally if desired.
The Venice Armchair Living is designed to look current season after season because it avoids trends and focuses on proportion and restraint. It feels luxurious, but it is also practical—built to be used every day, not saved for occasions.
