About Audrey S Armchair
Considered Design
Audrey S is part of Capital’s 2016 armchair collection and shows a quiet, confident profile. The silhouette is compact, with a generous seat and back that feel visually soft, even before sitting down. Gentle curves keep the lines approachable, while the proportions stay clean and modern.
Designed by Boatto Martino Studio, the chair sits on a rounded metal base that gives it a grounded look. Nothing is abrupt here; edges are eased, transitions are smooth, and the whole piece feels well resolved from every angle.
Materials & Build
The structure is carefully layered. A memory foam pre-cover shapes the seat and back, wrapped by a final cover in either fabric or leather. This combination keeps the form precise while adding comfort right where the body needs it.
Metal finishing on the rounded base anchors the chair, pairing well with the chosen upholstery. Whether specified in fabric or leather, the materials are selected to work hand in hand with the sculpted form and maintain a consistent appearance over time.
Comfort in Use
Inside, the chair is defined by the inviting softness of both seat and backrest. The memory foam layer creates a cushioned, responsive feel rather than something overly rigid. It supports, but it also yields in a measured way.
At about 28.3 inches wide, 30.3 inches high, and 28.7 inches deep, with a seat height of roughly 17.7 inches and arm height of about 24.4 inches, the scale works well for relaxed seating without overwhelming a room.
Placement & Lifestyle
Audrey S by Capital works comfortably in living rooms, lounges, or a more intimate corner. Its size and rounded base let it sit well as a single accent or as part of a pair. In the same family, a lounge swivel armchair repeats the key features in a different size, giving designers an extra option for coordinating spaces.
Longevity & Everyday Use
With a metal base, textile or leather finish, and memory foam pre-cover, the construction is geared to everyday living. The chair weighs around 57.3 pounds and occupies about 17.7 cubic feet in volume, substantial enough to feel solid without being difficult to move.
The mix of durable metals with quality fabrics or leather keeps the Capital armchair looking composed even under regular use, making it a considered choice for both private and hospitality settings.
