Design

On is a wall shelf by designer Ennio Arosio, pared back and sharply composed. The profile stays thin and quiet, but it still reads as intentional. And the way the glass is layered gives the shelf a clean, architectural edge that looks finished from every angle.

It comes in glossy lacquered glass or an opaque lacquered glass finish, so the look can shift from crisp and reflective to more muted. Either way, the lines stay precise. The shelf is meant to sit close to the wall and keep the room feeling open.

Materials & build

Each shelf is made from two tempered crystal plates, each 0.31 inches thick, glued together to create a solid, compact body. A steel wedge supports the structure and allows the shelf to be hung, keeping the visual hardware minimal. The build is straightforward, but nothing feels casual about it.

On is not available custom made, so the proportions are fixed to the offered sizes. In the collection, the shelf is available in four lengths: 39.37 inches, 47.24 inches, 59.06 inches, and 78.74 inches. All versions share the same depth of 11.42 inches and a height of 4.72 inches.

Everyday use
