Omega Side table

About Omega Side table

Design

The Omega side table from Capital sits in that easy space between statement piece and quiet companion. Designed by Boatto Martino Studio for the Service Tables 2024 collection, it has a clean, architectural presence that works well in contemporary rooms and more classic settings alike. The form is compact yet confident, with a square top set on a leather-clad structure that feels solid rather than showy.

At about 31.5 inches wide and 31.5 inches deep, with a height of roughly 22 inches, it offers generous surface area without overwhelming a seating arrangement. Lines are kept disciplined, so the eye reads a single sculpted volume rather than a complicated piece of furniture. That restraint is exactly where Omega finds its character.

Materials & Build

The table combines a wood finish with a full leather-clad structure, bringing together warmth and tactility in a straightforward way. Wood gives the piece its familiar, grounded feel. The leather wrap introduces a softer layer, visually and to the touch, while still keeping a tailored profile.

With a weight between approximately 62 and 71 pounds, the Omega table has clear substance. It sits firmly where it is placed, which suits living rooms, lounges, and suites where stability matters as much as style.

Comfort in Use

This is a service table designed to work around people and everyday gestures. The 22-inch height aligns comfortably with most sofas and lounge chairs, so setting down a drink, a magazine, or a laptop feels natural. No need to reach too far or bend awkwardly.

The generous 31.5-inch square top creates enough room for a balanced mix of objects: a tray, a book stack, a lamp. And there is still clear space left for whatever is in use at the moment.

Placement & Lifestyle

Omega by Capital fits best where seating converges. It can anchor the center of a compact lounge layout or sit confidently between two armchairs as a shared surface. In larger rooms, it works well paired in twos, mirroring each other to define a conversation area.

The mix of wood and leather gives the table an easygoing versatility. It feels at home alongside fabric upholstery, but also pairs smoothly with leather sofas and armchairs, tying different textures together.

Longevity

The combination of a substantial structure and classic materials suggests a piece intended to stay put, not rotate out with the next season. The wood finish gives it visual durability, while the leather-clad body will develop a subtle, lived-in character over time, depending on use and care.

In the context of Capital’s collection, Omega reads as a reliable, long-term part of a room’s landscape: solidly built, quietly detailed, and sized to remain useful as layouts and needs evolve.
