About Elton Pouf
Elton Pouf by Talenti
Sinuous form, purposeful ease
The Elton Pouf slips into an outdoor setting with a quiet confidence, its soft curves reading as both sculpture and seat. Designed by Ludovica + Roberto Palomba for Talenti’s Elton collection, it works as an extension of a lounge composition or as a standalone accent that punctuates space. Low, generous, and impeccably tailored, the Elton Pouf invites that instinctive move—feet up, book down, conversation on.
Crafted for the elements
At its foundation, the Elton Pouf rests on Accoya wood, chosen for its superior dimensional stability and performance outdoors. Talenti finishes the base in two refined expressions: a natural teak tone that celebrates warm, honeyed grain and a palissandro (rosewood) hue with a deeper, tailored character. Both finishes are built for all-weather living, resisting swelling, warping, and the inevitable tests of sun, salt, and rain. The upper is upholstered in outdoor-grade textiles that feel civilized to the touch yet stand up to UV exposure and sudden showers without fuss. It’s the rare outdoor pouf that doesn’t compromise—neither on comfort nor longevity.
Design that adapts
The Elton Pouf’s geometry is more than ornamental. Its rounded profile nests neatly against the curved sofas and daybeds in the Elton series, creating fluid islands for gathering. Slide one alongside a chaise and it becomes a generous side perch. Place two in dialogue at the end of a modular sofa and the composition reads complete. On a terrace, by the pool, even on a yacht deck, the Elton Pouf behaves like a punctuation mark—subtle, but decisive.
Palette with presence
Talenti’s material moodboard underscores the piece’s versatility. Pair the natural teak finish with Old White for a breezy, Mediterranean effect, or with Cordonetto Beige for a tone-on-tone, architectural quiet. Sunflower brings a measured burst of color; Galaxy Blue introduces maritime depth. Stripe Champagne, with its crisp cadence, lends a resort inflection that never feels loud. Prefer the darker base? The palissandro finish grounds the brighter textiles and elevates neutrals, especially in hospitality settings where contrast matters.
A note on touch and tailoring
What distinguishes the Elton Pouf in the crowded field of luxury outdoor furniture is the calibration of softness. The cushioning is supportive without being stiff; edges are eased rather than squared off. Stitching is precise, the silhouette uninterrupted. It’s a pouf and a bench, yes, but also a visual rest—a quiet curve that tempers rectilinear architecture and hardscaped patios.
Design lineage, Italian to the core
With the Elton collection, Ludovica + Roberto Palomba continue their patient study of comfort and coastal modernism. The Elton Pouf is the collection’s most adaptable module, proof that a small form can carry a big design idea. It’s unmistakably Talenti: contemporary yet relaxed, engineered for weather, finished like a piece for the living room.
For those assembling a complete outdoor living story, the Elton Pouf becomes the connector—between seats, between moods, between day and night. Move it, reorient it, let it stand alone. The piece doesn’t demand attention; it earns it, quietly.
