Lincoln XL Office

About Lincoln XL Office

Design

The Lincoln XL by Capital is a generous writing desk with a quiet, confident presence. Designed in 2016 by Boatto Martino Studio, it stretches to about 86.6 inches in width and 97.2 inches in depth, giving the piece a broad, architectural stance. Lines are clean, with a structure that feels deliberate rather than decorative. The marble insert breaks the expanse of wood with a simple visual pause, adding depth without shouting for attention.

A side cabinet is integrated into the composition, so the whole desk reads as one continuous volume rather than separate elements. It feels considered from every angle, suited to an office where the desk is not pushed against a wall but allowed to define the room.

Materials & Build

The structure is in wood, with profiles and handles in metal and a marble insert that anchors the surface. Nothing is superfluous, yet nothing feels bare. The mix of wood, metal, and marble is direct and honest. Each material does its part and is allowed to look like itself.

The desk measures about 29.5 inches in height and weighs around 461 pounds, with a volume of approximately 63.6 cubic feet. It is clearly built as a substantial office piece, not something temporary or light-duty.

Comfort & Use

Lincoln XL offers a large work surface that easily accommodates screens, documents, and personal objects without feeling crowded. The proportions are practical, making day-to-day work straightforward. The marble insert creates a defined area on the top, handy for writing, placing a laptop, or keeping key items close at hand.

Storage & Placement

The integrated side cabinet includes two sliding doors, internal shelves, and two drawers, so essential documents and tools can be kept nearby but out of sight. It keeps the desk clear and the office visually calm. The piece works well as the anchor in an executive office, a studio, or a home workspace where furniture needs to feel considered rather than improvised.

Longevity

With its solid wood structure, metal details, and marble insert, this Capital desk is built for long-term use. Materials are chosen for durability as much as for appearance. The straightforward design by Boatto Martino Studio avoids short-lived trends, so the Lincoln XL can stay in place and in service as the office around it evolves.
