The Bolivar writing desk from Capital presents a clean, quiet silhouette that suits a focused workspace. Its proportions are generous without feeling heavy, with a width of about 63 inches and a depth of roughly 28.3 inches. Side drawers frame a central open area, giving the front a balanced, architectural look.

Designed by Boatto Martino Studio in 2020, the piece sits lightly on lacquered legs that lift the wooden structure just enough to keep it visually agile. The central opening introduces a sense of ease and lightness, so the desk never feels bulky, even in smaller rooms.

Materials & Build

At its core, Bolivar is a wooden structure, finished to highlight a solid, composed presence. Lacquered legs and lacquered side drawers bring a smooth contrast to the natural warmth of the wood, keeping the whole desk visually coherent and modern.

Metal details trace the feet and profiles, adding a subtle graphic line around the edges. These metal accents are not loud; they simply sharpen the form and quietly underline the quality of the build. With a weight of about 170 pounds and an overall volume of around 42.4 cubic feet, the desk feels substantial and stable.

With a height of approximately 30 inches, Bolivar offers a comfortable working level for writing, reading, or laptop use.
