About Neverending Glory Wall Sconce
Design
The Neverending Glory Covent Garden Wall Sconce distills the silhouette of a grand chandelier into a calm, architectural gesture. Jan Plecháč and Henry Wielgus shaped the form by rotating a profile around its axis, capturing the memory of a historic light without the bulk. The result is a clean, glass volume that feels sculpted and deliberate.
Proportions are generous yet balanced: approximately 17.4 inches in diameter, 9.2 inches high, and 9.4 inches wide. It reads as a statement when used solo, and quietly aligns in pairs. In clear glass with a glossy nickel-plated frame, it keeps the wall open and bright, not busy. This is Lasvit at its most restrained—recognizable, but not loud.
Materials & Build
The piece is formed from handmade glass, worked with large wooden molds to achieve its distinct curvature. That process gives the surface subtle life. Occasional bubbles and slight shade variations may appear; they are part of the making and lend authenticity to each sconce.
A glossy nickel-plated frame anchors the glass with a crisp, polished edge. At roughly 17.6 pounds, the fixture carries a pleasing solidity without feeling heavy on the wall. The materials are chosen to stay clear, true, and composed over years of use.
Light & Comfort
As a wall light, it’s designed for ease on the eye. The clear glass shapes the beam into a soft, dimensional glow that’s bright enough to guide and gentle enough to live with. It flatters surrounding surfaces and brings definition to textures and art without glare.
By echoing the form of a classic chandelier, the sconce adds a sense of occasion, yet the light itself remains calm. It sets an inviting rhythm down a corridor or frames a room with subtle highlights. Nothing fussy, just comfortable illumination with presence.
Placement & Lifestyle
Use it where architectural lighting meets decoration: flanking a mirror in an entry, punctuating a dining wall, or giving depth to a hallway or landing. In a bedroom, one on each side of the headboard adds structure without crowding the space.
The Covent Garden profile plays well with both modern and traditional interiors. In contemporary rooms it reads as a refined object; in classical settings it feels like a respectful nod to history. Either way, it brings order and a clear point of view.
Longevity
Lasvit builds the Neverending Glory series to last, and this sconce follows suit. The nickel-plated glossy frame resists daily wear, while the handmade glass retains its clarity when treated with care. Light dusting keeps the surface crisp and the silhouette defined.
Over time, the piece settles into the home rather than aging out of it. Its form is measured, its materials honest. That’s why it stays relevant from the first install to the long after.
