The Lasvit Neverending Glory La Scala L Pendant distills the drama of an opera-house chandelier into a single sculptural volume. Designers Jan Plecháč and Henry Wielgus captured the outline by rotating a historic silhouette around its own axis, translating the grandeur of La Scala in Milan into a pure, contemporary form. The result is bold yet restrained. No excess, only proportion and presence. Within the broader Neverending Glory collection—shaped after icons from Milan, Paris, New York, Prague, and Moscow—this La Scala L holds its own with quiet authority.

Materials & Build

Formed from substantial clear glass, the piece is made using large wooden molds that push traditional glassmaking to its practical limit. That scale shows. The pendant measures approximately 21.7 inches in diameter and 23.6 inches in height, with a weight close to 22 pounds. A matte white lacquered frame (RAL 9010) supports the body without visual noise, letting the glass remain the focus. As with all handmade glass, subtle bubbles or tone variations may appear—small marks of the process that add character rather than distraction.

Light & Comfort

Light quality sits front and center. An LED E27 6W source delivers about 540 lumens with a 95 CRI, offering warm white illumination that flatters materials, finishes, and skin tones.
