The Orion chest of drawers from Capital is a low, confident piece with a clear purpose. A single wide drawer runs the full width, keeping the front clean and uninterrupted. Metal profiles trace the edges and frame the volume, giving the piece a precise, architectural feel without making it look cold. The optional marble top sits like a quiet accent, adding weight and a subtle play of texture when specified.

Developed by Capital Creative Lab in 2015, Orion reads as contemporary but not extreme. Lines are straight, proportions are balanced, and every element feels considered rather than decorative. It is the kind of piece that blends in at first, then becomes the anchor of the wall it sits against.

Materials & Build

Orion is built on a solid wooden frame, then finished in category B leather. The leather wraps the body with a smooth, continuous surface that feels substantial to the hand. Metal profiles and handles cut through that softness with a crisp, tailored contrast. Together, they give the chest both warmth and structure. The piece measures about 51.2 inches wide, 31.9 inches high, and 19.7 inches deep, with a weight range of roughly 247 to 291 pounds, which hints at its solid construction. An optional marble top can be added when a more pronounced, sculptural presence is desired.
