About Prisma Dining table

Design

The Prisma dining table by Capital is built around a clear, graphic idea. A pure rectangular top is quietly interrupted by a metallic insert, giving the surface a subtle line of contrast. It is a clean gesture, but it changes the way the table catches the eye and the light. The look is contemporary, straight to the point, and confident without being loud.

Offered in three lengths—about 94.5, 102.4, and 118.1 inches—the design scales up or down without losing its character. Each size keeps the same proportions and the same interplay between wood and metal, so the table feels consistent whether it sits in a city apartment or a larger dining room.

Materials & Build

Prisma pairs a wood tabletop with a precise metallic insert, set flush into the surface. The contrast is visual, but also tactile. The handcrafted metal base echoes this dialogue, giving the table a strong architectural line while keeping the focus on the top.

The base is metal throughout, built for everyday use as much as for looks. It supports the substantial weight of the table—around 264.6, 299.8, or 388 pounds depending on length—so it stands firm and stable over time.

Comfort & Scale

With a height of roughly 30.3 inches, Prisma sits comfortably within the familiar range of dining tables, working well with standard dining chairs. The 43.3-inch depth offers generous room for place settings and shared dishes, without pushing guests too far apart.

Across all three lengths, the table keeps a balanced footprint. The surface feels expansive, yet the proportions remain easy to live with and to move around.

Placement & Lifestyle

The range of sizes makes Prisma easy to place. The smaller length fits more compact rooms, while the two larger versions suit open-plan living spaces and dedicated dining areas. The metal inlay reads as a quiet design move, so it pairs easily with both minimal and more layered interiors.

The mix of wood and metal allows the table to sit comfortably alongside different chair styles, from upholstered to timber. It can lean formal or relaxed, depending on the setting.

Longevity

Capital builds Prisma with durability in mind. The solid wood top, metal insert, and handcrafted metal base are designed to handle daily use without feeling delicate. The table’s volume—about 53.0, 56.5, or 60.0 cubic feet—signals a substantial, grounded presence rather than something temporary.

Over the years, the materials are meant to age well, keeping the table visually sharp while the structure remains reassuringly stable.
