Pipeline tavoli alti

About Pipeline tavoli alti

Design

Pipeline tavoli alti is a series of high tables that keeps the gesture simple: a clear top, clean geometry, and cylindrical glass feet that read as light but intentional. Rectangular, square, and round versions all share the same calm presence. The look is graphic without being sharp, and it sits comfortably in both minimal rooms and more layered interiors.

Piero Lissoni’s hand shows in the restraint. Nothing feels overworked. And because the structure is so quiet, the table lets chairs, lighting, and the room’s architecture do their job.

Materials & build

The top is 0.6 inches thick in tempered glass, offered in transparent extra-light or in glossy lacquered glass. The thickness adds confidence without making the surface feel heavy. The feet are made from transparent borosilicate glass, formed as cylinders that keep the base visually open and consistent from every angle.

There’s a precision to the way these materials come together. And it matters here, because glass doesn’t hide anything. For clients who need a specific footprint, custom-made options are available through glasitalia.

Comfort in use

This is a high table designed for real dining and long conversation. The 28.3-inch height feels familiar, with enough clearance to keep place settings, serving pieces, and everyday objects from feeling cramped. The broad, uninterrupted top gives hands and elbows room, even when the table is set fully.

Glass is also easy to live with when it’s done right. The surface reads crisp and clean, and it doesn’t compete with what’s on it. But it still feels substantial under touch because of the tempered build.

Placement & lifestyle

Pipeline tavoli alti spans a wide range of sizes, which makes it easy to place. Rectangular options run from about 70.9 by 35.4 inches up to 86.6 by 39.4 inches, fitting anything from tighter dining rooms to longer, open-plan spaces. Square formats range from roughly 51.2 inches to 59.1 inches per side, a strong choice for balanced rooms and conversation-forward seating.

Round versions bring a softer rhythm, offered from about 55.1 inches up to 66.9 inches in diameter. They suit kitchens and dining areas where movement matters, and they pair naturally with sculptural chairs.

Longevity

The materials are chosen for resilience as much as appearance. Tempered glass is made to handle daily use, and borosilicate glass is valued for its stability and clarity over time. The design doesn’t rely on trends or extra detailing, so it stays relevant as spaces evolve.

With routine care, the table keeps its sharpness and transparency year after year. And that’s the point: a refined dining table that continues to look composed, even when life around it gets busy.
