Hub tavoli alti is a series of round high tables by Piero Lissoni, built around a clean circle and a clear, architectural base. The look is spare but not cold. And the proportions do the work: a slim top, a centered cylinder, then a grounded foot that gives the whole piece a calm, composed stance.

The table reads light from a distance, then more substantial up close. That contrast is part of the appeal. It stays quiet in the room, yet it still feels intentional, like a piece chosen for its lines rather than for decoration.

Materials & build

The top is tempered glass, 0.47 inches thick. It sits on a base made from a hollow borosilicate glass cylinder, paired with a 0.47-inch glass foot that provides ballast. The construction is precise and direct, with the top designed to be disassembled and secured to the base using rings in stainless steel and anodized aluminum.

Finishes are kept focused and modern: glossy or opaque lacquered glass, or a transparent extralight top with an extralight mirrored foot. For the extralight configuration, a mirrored cylinder is also available with a fade that shifts from bottom to top, giving the base a softer visual edge without changing the silhouette.

At 28.35 inches high, Hub is suited to dining and conversation, with a generous surface that keeps place settings, serving pieces, and glassware comfortably within reach. The round format encourages easy eye contact. It’s a table that supports a shared pace, not a formal one.

Glass can feel precious, but here it’s handled with confidence. The tempered top and stable base make it practical for daily use, while still delivering that crisp, clean surface people come back to.

Placement & lifestyle

The collection offers five diameters, from 55.12 inches up to 70.87 inches (55.12, 59.06, 62.99, 66.93, and 70.87 inches), all at the same height. That range makes it easy to scale the piece to the room, whether it’s a compact dining area or a larger, open plan space that needs a clear center.

Because the base is transparent and the form is so contained, it doesn’t visually crowd a space. The mirrored options add presence, especially in evening light, without turning the table into a statement for its own sake.
