About Ollie console
Design
Ollie is a console with a crisp, architectural profile, drawn with the kind of restraint that lets the details do the work. The silhouette is light but deliberate: a slim top, a single vertical stand, and a mirrored base that gives the piece a clean sense of finish. It reads as graphic from a distance, then becomes more layered as the glass reveals its depth.
Designed by Yabu Pushelberg, the look stays focused on proportion and line. And it avoids decoration for decoration’s sake. Instead, the visual interest comes from curvature, transparency, and the way each element meets the next.
Materials & build
The top is made in 10+10 mm laminated extralight glass, with a curved extralight glass element UV bonded to the underside to create a discreet storage zone. On the upper surface, a drawer is attached and wrapped in glossy lacquered glass, keeping the front clean and continuous when closed.
The vertical stand uses 12+12 mm laminated tempered glass, offered in extralight glass or colored transparent glass. Top and stand connect through a pair of mirror-polished metal plates, designed for assembly and disassembly. The base is removably fixed to the stand, covered in 10 mm mirror, and finished with small adjustable feet for a steady sit.
Everyday comfort
This is a console meant to feel easy in daily use. The drawer operates with a push-pull opening, so there’s no hardware to interrupt the surface. And the drawer can be mounted to open from the front or the rear, which makes a difference when the placement is more flexible or the piece is used as a divider.
The materials are glass-forward, but the experience is not fragile. The tempered and laminated construction, paired with stable footing, keeps interactions confident and simple.
Placement & lifestyle
At approximately 61 inches wide, 14.8 inches deep, and 36.2 inches high, the proportions suit entry halls, living spaces, and long corridors without taking over the room. The narrow depth keeps circulation clear, while the storage elements add function without changing the clean outline.
Ollie also works where a lighter visual footprint matters. Against textured walls, near art, or under a mirror, the extralight glass and mirrored base keep the atmosphere open rather than heavy.
Longevity
Glas Italia builds this piece around technical solutions that are meant to last: UV bonding, laminated glass layers, and a hardware system that supports proper assembly over time. The adjustable feet help maintain alignment on imperfect floors, which protects the structure in the long run. Ollie is not available custom made, and that consistency is part of the point: a precise design, executed the same way each time.
