About Lincoln Coffee table

Design

The Lincoln coffee table by Capital, designed by Boatto Martino Studio, is built around a clear visual idea. A single marble insert cuts through the tabletop, not as decoration for its own sake, but as a quiet focal point. Two slim metallic elements frame this marble and guide the eye down to the base. The result is a table that feels composed and deliberate, with lines that stay calm even in a busy room. Proportions are generous without being bulky, so the piece sits confidently between sofa and lounge chair, doing its job without shouting for attention.

Materials & Build

Lincoln works with a restrained mix of materials: metal, wood, and marble. The marble insert is the star, set precisely into the top so that surfaces meet cleanly and stay level. Metal profiles hold the stone on both sides and continue downward, visually grounding the structure. Wood balances the cool touch of marble and metal, adding warmth and tactility. It feels like a table built to be seen from every angle, with the junctions between materials handled with care rather than hidden. Nothing looks accidental.

Comfort in Everyday Use

With a height of about 15.7 inches, Lincoln keeps trays, books, and drinks comfortably within reach from a sofa or low lounge chair. The top spans roughly 59.1 by 35.4 inches, so there is room to layer objects without losing free space for everyday use. It is a practical working surface for a living area, large enough for guests, yet open enough that it never feels cluttered when left almost bare. The table simply supports whatever routine gathers around it.

Placement & Lifestyle

This Capital piece sits naturally in a modern living room, but it also makes sense in a hotel suite, a private office, or a reception lounge. The mix of marble, metal, and wood pairs easily with soft fabrics, leather, or clean-lined modular seating. Place it in front of a long sofa, between two armchairs, or in a more open conversation area; the design adapts without losing character. And because the form is so clear, it can handle both a minimal styling approach and a more layered, personal one.

Longevity & Presence

Weighing close to 187.4 pounds, Lincoln has a solid physical presence that feels reassuring. The combination of marble, metal, and wood is built for long-term use, not just a season. Surfaces are meant to handle daily objects and regular movement around the table, while the substantial base keeps everything steady. Over time, the piece is less about making a statement and more about quietly belonging to the room, holding its place in the layout as furniture moves and life around it changes.
