Design

The Cookie coffee table presents a clean, cylindrical profile that feels considered without trying too hard. The central structure is encircled by a distinctive metal crown, a subtle ring detail that gives the table its character. It reads as a sculpted volume rather than a flat surface, so it naturally anchors a seating area instead of just filling space. Proportions are generous but not overwhelming: about 39.4 inches wide and deep, with a height of roughly 16.1 inches that sits comfortably in front of a sofa.

Materials & Build

Cookie by Capital is built around a fully upholstered frame, offered in either leather or fabric. The vertical surface becomes an integral part of the piece, not just a support. The top can be specified in marble or wood, allowing a choice between a cool, mineral feel or a warmer, more tactile finish. The metal ring detail on the central structure is completed in a metal finish that visually ties in with other accents in the room.

Despite its refined presence, the table has a substantial weight, ranging from about 126 to 192 pounds depending on the configuration. It occupies around 14.1 cubic feet of volume, giving it a solid, grounded stance rather than a light, temporary feel.

The height of Cookie is calibrated for everyday living. At approximately 16.1 inches, it keeps trays, books, or a laptop within easy reach when seated. The continuous round shape avoids sharp corners, making circulation around the table simple and relaxed in a living space.

Designed in 2019 by Boatto Martino Studio for the Capital coffee tables collection, Cookie works as a central piece in a lounge setting or as a generous service table in a larger room. The combination of an upholstered base with either marble or wood top lets it adapt to different interiors, from pared-back spaces to more layered environments. And because it is finished on all sides, it sits well both in the middle of a room and closer to a wall.
