The Orion L nightstand from Capital sits in that quiet space between statement and discretion. Its profile is clean and compact, measuring about 23.6 inches wide, 22.8 inches high, and 17.7 inches deep. Lines stay straight, edges are well defined, and the single drawer keeps the front visually calm. Metal profiles trace the structure with a subtle graphic touch, while the handles echo the same language, giving the piece a clear, modern attitude without feeling sharp or cold.

Designed by Capital Creative Lab for the Bedsides 2015 collection, it feels carefully considered rather than decorative. Nothing is extra, yet it does not look minimal for the sake of it. It simply reads as a nightstand that belongs next to a well-made bed and stays relevant as the room evolves around it.

Materials & Build

Orion L is built on a wooden frame, giving the piece a solid, reassuring core. Around that structure, the body can be finished in leather or eco-leather, adding a soft, tactile surface to the geometric volume. The contrast between the warm, upholstered planes and the crisp metal profiles creates a balanced, tailored look.

Metal handles and trim are not just accents; they protect edges and points of contact, where life tends to leave marks. An optional marble top introduces another layer of materiality. It brings a cool, natural surface that partners well with both wood and leather, while visually anchoring the nightstand.
