The Eden XL nightstand sits in that quiet space between minimal and warm. Designed by Boatto Martino Studio for Capital in 2018, it has a clear, simple outline that feels calm at a glance. The beige taupe lacquered frame gives the piece a soft, contemporary presence that works well next to both upholstered and wooden beds.

Lines are clean, but not severe. The single drawer keeps the front visually light, while the slightly raised base gives the nightstand an almost floating look. It is a piece that blends in yet still sharpens the room around it.

Materials & Build

A lacquered structure in beige taupe forms the body, paired with a wooden top that adds a natural counterpoint to the smooth surfaces below. The handle and basement are in steel, bringing a subtle, architectural accent. The contrast between metal, lacquer, and wood is quiet but intentional.

The structure is offered only in this lacquered version, not in wood or black lacquer, which keeps the design focused and consistent. The finish palette of wood and metals stays firmly in a modern, livable register.
