The Aurea nightstand from Capital takes the bedside table in a different direction with a clean circular silhouette. The round top softens the lines of the room and offers a quiet alternative to the usual square or rectangular shapes. At about 21.7 inches high and 19.7 inches in diameter, it keeps a modest footprint while still feeling substantial next to the bed.

Raised lightly off the floor, the form appears calm and composed rather than heavy. That gap between base and ground gives it a modern, almost floating presence and makes the piece easy to place on different flooring, from thick rugs to smooth stone.

Materials & Build

Designed by Capital Creative Lab for the Bedsides 2024 collection, Aurea brings together metals, wood, and marble in a clear, structured way. Each material plays its role: wood for warmth, metal for precision, marble for a quiet sense of luxury. The mix is deliberate, not showy.

The construction feels solid without being bulky. Depending on the configuration, the piece ranges from roughly 26 to 46 pounds, enough weight to stay stable yet still easy to reposition when the room layout changes.

Everyday Comfort

Aurea is built around simple nighttime rituals. The circular top keeps essentials—book, water, phone—close at hand, without corners that get in the way. Its elevated stance means there is no need to reach down awkwardly; everything sits at a natural, comfortable level from most standard beds.

The open feel beneath the top also keeps the area visually light, so the bedside remains clear rather than crowded, even when the surface is fully used.

Placement & Lifestyle

This nightstand suits interiors that lean contemporary but don’t want to feel cold. The combination of wood, metal, and marble works just as well against upholstered headboards as it does beside a more minimal bed frame. It can also move easily into a guest room or a quiet reading corner when needed.
