Mon Allure Armchair

About Mon Allure Armchair

Design

Mon Allure by Capital is a generous lounge chair with a clear, flowing line. The profile begins with a soft curve that runs along the outer shell, then moves inwards to frame the padding. Nothing feels exaggerated. The silhouette is classic, almost familiar, but the way the volume is drawn makes it feel current and quietly confident.

Designed by Boatto Martino Studio, the chair reads as one continuous gesture. The back and arms rise from the seat in a single sweep, creating a cradle-like form. From the front it looks open and inviting. From the side, the curve of the shell gives it a sculpted, architectural presence without dominating a room.

Materials & Build

The Mon Allure armchair is available fully upholstered in fabric or leather, or with a visible wooden shell that highlights its outline. Each version uses a foam-molded shell to keep the form precise and consistent, with upholstery that sits cleanly on the structure. The finishes are supported by discreet metal elements that complete the piece with a subtle sheen.

At about 39.4 inches wide, 33.1 inches high, and 35.4 inches deep, the proportions feel generous but controlled. Weighing approximately 119 pounds, the chair has a reassuring solidity that matches its visual weight.

Comfort

The foam-molded shell is shaped to create a wrapped, protective backrest. It feels like a seated alcove, where the curve of the back and sides gently supports the body instead of just meeting it at a single point. The padding is integrated, not added as an afterthought, so the comfort follows the line of the design.

With a seat height around 16.5 inches and armrests reaching roughly 29.1 inches, the posture is relaxed yet upright enough for conversation. It works as well for an evening drink as for reading or a long talk.

Placement & Lifestyle

Mon Allure is sized for both residential and hospitality settings. A single chair anchors a reading corner or bedroom sitting area. In pairs, it naturally frames a coffee table or low side table in a living room or lobby. The volume of about 35.3 cubic feet feels substantial, but the continuous curve keeps it from looking heavy.

Fabric upholstery lends a softer, more casual note. Leather tilts it toward a more tailored, executive mood. A wooden shell introduces a stronger graphic edge, ideal when the chair is placed in the center of a space and seen from all sides.

Longevity

The combination of a molded foam shell, stable weight, and quality upholstery options gives this Capital armchair a durable character. The shape is not driven by trend; it is guided by the ergonomics of the curve and the need for support. That makes it easier to live with over time.

Edges are protected by the continuous shell, and the structure is designed to hold its contour rather than sag. With appropriate care for the chosen finish—whether fabric, leather, or wood—the chair is built to offer the same enveloping comfort and visual clarity year after year.
