Villas Aura – Auréa

Villas Aura – Auréa

On the Côte d’Azur, France, Villas Aura – Auréa brings together two adjoining homes with distinct personalities and a shared point of view. The project was developed through a collaboration with DORGA – DAVID BURLES Studio in Lyons, with 2DMO in Saint Tropez overseeing project management. The result is a pair of villas that feel connected without being identical. Indoor rooms open naturally toward outdoor living, and the shift from one architectural style to the other still reads as one coherent story.

Meridiani’s presence is felt across both villas in a way that stays calm and considered. The interiors lean into neutral palettes, then soften the look with touches of blue that echo the sea and sky nearby. It’s a restrained approach, but not cold. The furnishings are used to keep the spaces grounded, letting the surrounding landscape do its part without competing for attention.

Villa Auréa

In Villa Auréa, the reception area is anchored by the Quincy console, combining bronzed brass with a Chalk lacquer structure. And the iconic Plinto table takes center stage, finished with an oak wood top that adds warmth to the room. Seating is arranged with a clear sense of ease: Timothy sofas, defined by contemporary lines, create a comfortable perimeter that encourages conversation rather than formality.

At the heart of this setting sits the Belt low table, finished with a marble top that brings a quiet richness. The mix is deliberate. Metal, lacquer, oak, and marble each bring their own texture, but they sit together without noise. Meridiani pieces here don’t ask for attention; they hold the space and let it breathe.

Villa Aura

Villa Aura keeps an assonance in style, but it carries its own identity. The Tai chairs introduce a crisp detail with a white saddle-leather backrest, a clean counterpoint to the softer shapes elsewhere. Norton sofas add a more organic presence, creating a corner that looks outward to the exterior areas. It’s a simple gesture, but it changes the mood of the room, making the outdoors feel like part of the plan.

The setting is completed by the Blake low table, then refined further with Isabelle small armchairs, set on light-stained wood legs. Pek low tables help define the layout, marking out moments for sitting, pausing, and gathering. Across Villas Aura – Auréa, Meridiani helps the two homes speak the same language, even as each keeps its own tone.
