Setting
In the heart of Lujiazui, Shanghai’s most exclusive financial district, this Luxury House in Shanghai sits above the rhythm of the city. The apartment looks out over the Huangpu River and frames a clear view of the skyline, with its best-known towers front and center. It’s a rare vantage point, and it sets the tone before anyone steps inside.
Concept
The interiors are bright and spacious, designed to make the most of the light and the views. There’s a calm confidence to the layout, where comfort and clarity matter as much as visual impact. The ambition is simple: a home that feels lived-in and considered, with art and elegance present but never loud.
And because the setting is already dramatic, the approach stays measured. The rooms are allowed to breathe. The result is an atmosphere that feels personal, not staged, with the city as a constant backdrop.
Collaboration
Meridiani was selected to furnish the apartment in collaboration with interior designer Eric Tsui and partner THE SHOUTER. It’s the kind of partnership that relies on alignment, not compromise. Each decision supports the same idea of modern comfort, elevated by clean lines and a sense of restraint.
From Day to Night
The furnishing plan moves naturally from the living room through to the night area, keeping the experience cohesive without making every space feel the same. The pieces bring personality into the home, but they don’t compete with the light or the view. They anchor the rooms and help define how each area is used, from hosting to unwinding.
But the emphasis stays on ease. These are bright rooms meant to be enjoyed at different times of day, in different moods. Meridiani’s presence is felt in the overall atmosphere: refined, comfortable, and quietly expressive.
Overall Impression
Luxury House in Shanghai is less about statement and more about balance. Brightness, comfort, art, and elegance sit side by side, with enough space for each to be noticed. It’s a residential project shaped by its location and carried by a confident interior direction, where every room feels intentional from the first glance to the last light.
