Höpershof Sylt
Höpershof Sylt is a collection of exclusive holiday homes on Sylt, Germany’s northernmost island in the North Sea. It’s a destination known for its discreet, high-profile crowd, but the real draw is the landscape. The maritime climate shapes everything here, softened by the Gulf Stream and marked by a calm that feels immediate. The setting asks for interiors that don’t compete with it. They need to hold their own, quietly.
The Project is designed around that idea: considered spaces made for real downtime. Not showy, not busy. Just well-resolved homes where the experience is as much about how a room feels as how it looks. And where attention to guests is not an extra, it’s the baseline.
Interiors and furnishing
Meridiani was selected to furnish the residences, covering both the sleeping and living areas. In the bedrooms, the focus is on beds and accessories that support rest and privacy. These are spaces meant to settle into quickly, with a sense of order and comfort that doesn’t require explanation.
In the living areas, the mood shifts to something more social, but still relaxed. Welcoming sofas and composed corners set the tone for long conversations, slow mornings, and quiet afternoons after the beach. Nothing feels overdesigned. The pieces are there to be used, and they help the interiors stay warm and inviting, even in a place where the weather can turn.
A place made for retreat
What stands out at Höpershof Sylt is the consistency. The architecture, the atmosphere, and the furnishing choices speak the same language. Guests are met with a level of comfort that feels natural, not staged. And that matters on Sylt, where people come to reset, not to be impressed.
The Meridiani collections fit into this context with ease. They support the project’s focus on relaxation and guest care, while keeping the look refined and unforced. It’s the kind of interior that lets the island stay in the lead, which is exactly the point.
