The Grand Hotel Victoria Concept & SPA in Menaggio, set against the stunning backdrop of Lake Como, has undergone a transformation that blends its historic elegance with modern refinement. The renovation, led by architect Franco Pè, preserves the building’s noble past while introducing a fresh, contemporary identity. The hotel once welcomed Europe’s aristocracy during the Belle Époque, and its newly restored form honors that legacy with a quiet grandeur.
Talenti furniture was selected to complete the project, chosen for its ability to harmonize with both the classical and modern elements of the space. Inside, the 1200-square-meter spa stands as a centerpiece. Its design speaks in neutral tones and soft textures, with pieces from the Casilda collection offering a calm geometry. The Casilda Sunbed and Daybed, along with the sinuous forms of the Breez bed by Karim Rashid, define a space that invites rest without pretension.
Outdoors, Talenti’s presence becomes even more prominent. Around the pool and in the gardens, the Cottage collection provides structured yet inviting seating. The Moon teak and Moon alu pieces, with their contrast of hard lines and soft cushions, fit easily into the bar area and terrace. These selections bring a gentle rhythm to the outdoor spaces, where form and function sit in effortless balance.
Elsewhere, Marco Acerbis’ Cleo Alu collection adds dynamism to lounge areas, its mix of materials offering visual interest without distraction. The Cleo Teak coffee tables bring a grounded character to the layout, standing confidently in the resort’s most exclusive corners.
What ties all of this together is a consistent mood—an atmosphere where every furnishing feels considered but never showy, luxurious but never loud. It’s a lesson in restraint, and the result is a space that feels as timeless as the lake it overlooks.
