The Brucoli Lighthouse is a place suspended between sky and sea, where time seems to stand still. Surrounded by the vivid blue of the Sicilian coast, this historic structure has been given a second life through a careful restoration project that respects its origins while redefining its purpose. What was once an abandoned maritime beacon is now a refined five-star destination—a luxury lighthouse stay unlike any other.
Overlooking the stunning marine landscape of Val di Noto and with the 15th-century Aragonese Castle of Queen Giovanna in the background, this project was part of the Italian State Property Agency’s “Valore Paese – Dimore” initiative, aimed at preserving and enhancing sites of historical and cultural significance.
Led by architect Giuseppe Di Vita of Itinera Studio Associato, the renovation masterfully blends historic preservation with contemporary elegance. The lighthouse has been transformed into a sanctuary of peace and design, open to guests seeking both authenticity and comfort.
To complete this unique vision, Talenti furnishings were chosen to enhance the outdoor and indoor areas. The panoramic terrace, which wraps around the lighthouse, features select pieces from the Cleo Alu collection by Marco Acerbis. Modular sofas, lounge chairs, swing seats, and dining tables create a seamless transition between architectural heritage and modern outdoor living. The result is a space that honors its past while offering every indulgence of refined hospitality.
This is not just a stay—it’s an experience shaped by light, history, and design.
