Escada stores

Project Overview

The Escada stores project in Germany called for furniture that could sit comfortably inside a world of feminine total-look fashion. ESCADA is known for chic lines and precious materials, and its retail presence spans more than a thousand points of sale worldwide. The interiors needed to feel aligned with that standard without trying to compete with the collections on display.

For this setting, Meridiani was selected to bring a calm, refined note to the boutiques. The goal was simple: support the brand experience with pieces that look considered, feel inviting, and hold their own in a high-end environment.

Design Choice

The Forrest Soft armchair was chosen as an interior complement for the Escada stores. Its elegant, sinuous shape fits naturally into a boutique context. And its compact scale makes sense on a sales floor where every square meter has a purpose.

Specified fully covered in black leather, the armchair adds a gritty, decisive edge while staying understated. The finish reads confident and clean. It does not ask for attention, but it does not disappear either.

Form and Atmosphere

Forrest Soft brings a quiet glamour to the space. The curved back and rounded armrests create a soft, continuous profile that feels contemporary, yet familiar. There is a clear nod to tradition, but it is handled with restraint.

It is the kind of seating that makes a boutique feel more welcoming, more lived-in, without shifting the focus away from the garments. But it still contributes to the overall impression: polished, deliberate, and consistent.

Fit for Contract

Versatility is part of the appeal. With small proportions and an adaptable presence, the armchair works easily across different store layouts and moments within the customer journey, from a quick pause to a longer consultation.

In this Germany-based project, Meridiani’s Forrest Soft proves its value in contract settings: compact, visually resolved, and strong in character. It is a clear choice for retail spaces that want comfort and style, kept in balance.
