Design

Aladin Wall Duo is a floor-to-ceiling partition designed by Piero Lissoni. It reads clean and architectural, with slim lines that keep the room open while still drawing a clear boundary. The profile stays quiet, so the glass is what people notice first. And because both faces are flush, it looks composed from every angle, not like an add-on.

Materials & build

The structure is aluminum, fixed to the floor and ceiling and, when needed, to a wall. It comes in five finishes, with an integrated adjustment system that helps level the partition and compensate for on-site irregularities. It’s the kind of detail that matters in real interiors, where ceilings aren’t always perfectly true.

On the Duo version, double laminated glass is applied on both sides of the aluminum profiles, creating an internal air chamber. Glass options run wide, from transparent and extra-light to acid-etched, patterned, lacquered, reflective, and colored finishes. The glass is certified to ANSI Z97.1 and UNI ENI 2150 safety standards.

Comfort, privacy, and everyday use

This is a partition that can shape a space without making it feel smaller. Clear and extra-light options keep sightlines open. Acid-etched and lacquered finishes add privacy with a softer presence. But the overall experience stays light, because the system is designed to be visually minimal. A technical module can also be added when a project calls for it.

Placement and lifestyle

Aladin Wall Duo suits places where flexibility and order need to coexist: a home office carved out of a larger room, a dressing area, a hallway transition, or a reception space that needs definition without heavy walls. It can be integrated with Glas Italia swing and sliding door models, coordinated in the same finish or contrasted on purpose. Some glass types are not compatible with every door model, so selections should be checked early in the planning stage.

Longevity and long-term appeal

The combination of aluminum structure and laminated safety glass is made for daily life and repeated use. The flush faces help the partition look consistent over time, even as the space around it evolves. Glass thickness is offered as 5 mm + 5 mm (about 0.20 in + 0.20 in) or 4 mm + 6 mm (about 0.16 in + 0.24 in), keeping the build substantial without losing its slim profile. And because Aladin Wall Duo is built as a system, it can adapt to future changes in layout with the right configuration.
