Mirror Mirror specchi is Jasper Morrison at his most quiet and precise. The forms are square or rectangular, offered in a range of sizes that read clean on the wall and still feel architectural up close. The detail that defines the collection is the 45° edge: it gives the mirror a crisp outline and a subtle sense of depth without turning it into a frame-heavy statement.

It’s the kind of object that looks composed in a minimal interior, but it doesn’t need a bare room to work. And because the design stays so straightforward, it can sit next to bold materials, art, and lighting without competing for attention.

Materials & build

Glas Italia builds each piece by gluing laminated, double-faced mirror slabs cut at 45°. The construction is deliberate and graphic, with clean joins that keep the silhouette sharp. Select sizes add a transparent glass shelf, heat-sealed directly to the mirror so the whole element stays visually light, almost floating.

Every mirror arrives with double fixtures for both vertical and horizontal hanging. That flexibility matters in real rooms, where proportion and sightlines change once furniture, door swings, and lighting are in place. Mirror Mirror specchi is not available custom made, so the collection’s sizing is meant to be chosen as-is.

Daily comfort

This is a mirror that’s easy to live with. The double-faced surface brings clarity from different angles, and the clean perimeter helps the reflection feel uninterrupted. In versions with the shelf, there’s an added layer of practicality: a place for keys, a small fragrance, or the pieces that tend to land by the door. It’s simple, but it makes the mirror feel more like part of a routine.

Placement & lifestyle

The collection spans a few distinct proportions, from a compact horizontal option to taller vertical formats. The MIR09 measures about 43.3 inches long by 5.1 inches deep by 15.0 inches high, while MIR10 is about 26.0 by 5.1 by 19.7 inches. For more presence, MIR11 comes in at roughly 26.8 by 5.1 by 26.8 inches, and MIR12 at about 29.5 by 5.1 by 11.0 inches.

Those dimensions make it easy to place one above a console, run it along a corridor, or stack visual weight in a dressing area without overwhelming the wall. But it can also work in pairs, especially where a wider reflection helps open the room.

Longevity

The materials are made for long-term use: mirror and glass, kept honest and direct. With proper mounting using the included fixtures and basic care, the look stays consistent over time. It’s a piece designed to settle in and keep doing its job, quietly, for years.
