About Cosmos

Design

Cosmos is a series of mirrors defined by geometry, not ornament. Each piece reads as a clear shape on the wall, with surfaces that shift between reflection and color. And that contrast is the point: a mirror that doesn’t disappear, but doesn’t compete either. Designed by Nanda Vigo, the composition feels deliberate and graphic, with clean edges and a quiet sense of structure.

The mirror panels combine areas that reflect with areas treated in satin or glossy lacquer. The result is a look that changes as light moves through the room. It can feel crisp in the morning, softer at night. But it always holds its line.

Materials & Build

Cosmos is made from glossy lacquered glass, built as slabs that alternate between partly reflective and partly lacquered finishes. The surfaces are smooth and precise, with the lacquer adding depth rather than shine-for-shine’s sake. It’s a straightforward material story, done with control. The series is offered with a double fixture that allows vertical or horizontal mounting, so the mirror can follow the architecture instead of forcing it.

glasitalia keeps the offering focused. Cosmos is not available custom made, which keeps the proportions and finish exactly as intended.

Everyday Use

This is a mirror meant to be lived with, not just looked at. The reflective zones do the practical work, while the satin and lacquered areas calm the view and reduce the feeling of a large, blank mirror plane. It makes getting ready feel a little less harsh, especially in bright rooms. And it adds presence without relying on heavy frames or extra detailing.

Placement & Lifestyle

The range includes several sizes that suit different spaces. CB02 and PR04 measure about 35.4 inches wide by 39.4 inches high, a balanced format for entryways, dining rooms, or above a console. CB08 comes in at roughly 23.6 inches wide by 63.0 inches high, a taller option that works well in corridors or next to a wardrobe. PL04 is about 25.6 inches wide by 65.0 inches high, with a similarly vertical stance that can elongate a room visually.

Hung vertically, it reads like an architectural panel. Turned horizontally, it becomes a wider gesture that can open up a tighter space. Either way, Cosmos stays clean and intentional.

Longevity

Cosmos is built around glass and finish, not trends. The geometry stays relevant because it’s simple, and the surface treatment keeps it from feeling flat over time. With careful handling during installation and normal care, it remains a strong, resilient piece that can move from one home to the next without losing its point.
